Compare
A free calculator multiplies your odds together. Your book won’t pay that number on a same-game parlay — and the gap is bigger than most people expect.
The difference
A standard parlay calculator assumes every leg is independent. It converts each price to a probability, multiplies them, and prints a payout. For legs from different games, that’s roughly right. For legs from the same game, it isn’t.
When legs are correlated — a team covering the spread and the game going over, say — they tend to win together. Sportsbooks know that and price same-game parlays accordingly, so the real payout is lower than the multiplied one. A calculator might print +884 on a ticket your book pays +265. That gap is the whole problem: you think you’re getting a price you aren’t.
Anchor estimates the correlated price instead, shows the book’s cut on each leg, and compares the ticket against just betting your lock straight. Sometimes the honest answer is that the parlay isn’t worth it, and Anchor says so. It’s also free on the main lines, so the comparison isn’t free versus paid.

FAQ
Because that’s what your book will pay. FanDuel, DraftKings, bet365 and the rest price same-game parlays with the legs together, so when legs tend to win together the payout shrinks. Anchor estimates the real same-game price rather than the multiplied one.
Not for legs in different games — books generally don’t cut the price across games, so multiplying is close. It’s same-game parlays where the multiplied number stops matching what you’ll actually be paid.
No. Same-game parlay pricing and the price check are on the free plan, on every main line. Pro adds alternate lines, player props, live games and the Monte Carlo simulation.
