Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Anchor website, apps and related services (together, “Anchor”, “we”, “us”). By using Anchor, ticking the box when you sign in, or subscribing, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use Anchor.

Please read the sections on projections and gambling risk carefully. They explain what Anchor’s numbers are, and that you alone are responsible for any bet you place.

• You must be at least 21 years old, or the legal gambling age where you live if that is higher.
• You’re responsible for making sure that sports betting, and using tools about sports betting, is legal where you are when you use Anchor.
• Don’t use Anchor if you have self-excluded from gambling, or if a court, regulator or sportsbook has barred you from betting.

Anchor is an information and entertainment tool. It shows sportsbook odds and calculates payouts, probabilities and related figures from those odds and from the inputs you choose.

• Anchor is not a sportsbook. We don’t accept, place or settle bets, we never hold your money, and we don’t pay out winnings.
• Anchor does not give betting, financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Nothing on Anchor, including a suggested leg, an auto-built ticket or a “better leg”, is a recommendation to place any bet. Every decision to bet is yours.
• Anchor is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any sportsbook, league, team or player. Their names and logos belong to their owners and appear only to identify games and prices.
• We don’t currently receive commissions from sportsbooks. If that ever changes, we’ll disclose it clearly wherever it applies.

Every payout, price, “chance to cash”, “projected profit”, “vs straight” comparison, boost value, simulation and chart on Anchor is a projection. None of them is a promise, a prediction of what will happen, or a statement of what you will win.

• They depend on your inputs. Projections assume your confidence in a bet (and any leg you “Like”) is accurate. If it isn’t, the projection is wrong, and a ticket shown with a projected profit can lose.
• Prices are estimates. Sportsbooks price same-game parlays with their own private methods. Anchor’s estimate of that price can differ from what your sportsbook offers, even after a price check. Odds may also be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Always check the final price in your sportsbook before you bet.
• Simulations are illustrations. Monte Carlo results show how a model behaves over many simulated bets. Your real results can be far better or far worse, and past or simulated results don’t predict future ones.

Sports betting is gambling. Any bet can lose, most parlays lose, and you can lose your whole stake. Only bet money you can afford to lose, and never borrow to bet.

You accept that you use Anchor and place any bet at your own risk, and that we aren’t responsible for your betting decisions or losses. If betting stops being fun, visit our responsible gambling page or call or text 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), free and confidential, 24/7.

You can sign in with Google or a one-time email link. Keep access to your email and Google account secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly through our contact form if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

One person, one account. Don’t share accounts, or create accounts for someone else or through automated means.

Anchor has a free plan and optional paid subscriptions (currently Pro and Sharp). Checkout and billing are handled by our payment processor, Whop, whose terms also apply to your payment.

• No free trials. A paid plan starts, and you’re charged, when you subscribe.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the price you agreed to plus any applicable tax, and you authorise the charge each period until you cancel.
• Taxes. Prices are in US dollars and don’t include sales tax, which may be added at checkout depending on where you are.
• Cancelling. Cancel anytime from your account page (Manage billing). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Refunds. If you ask within 7 days of your first paid charge, we’ll refund it in full. Otherwise payments are non-refundable, including for unused time, except where the law requires.
• Switching plans. Moving to another plan or billing period starts the new subscription and charges it that day. The old one won’t renew, and its remaining time isn’t refunded.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, paid features may be paused until it’s fixed.
• Price changes. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before a price change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it applies.
• What you’re paying for. A subscription unlocks tools and features. It doesn’t improve the odds of any bet or entitle you to any betting result.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, copy or bulk-download odds, outputs or other content from Anchor, or access it with bots or other automated means;
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the methods, models or source code behind Anchor;
• Use Anchor’s content or outputs to build, train or improve a competing product or any machine-learning or AI model;
• Resell, redistribute or publish Anchor’s outputs commercially, including as paid picks or tips, or present them as guaranteed winners;
• Submit false or misleading price checks, or otherwise try to manipulate Anchor’s estimates;
• Interfere with, overload or try to get around the security, sign-in or usage limits of Anchor; or
• Use Anchor for anything unlawful, including where sports betting is prohibited, or to help anyone under the legal gambling age bet.

When you save a slip, check a sportsbook’s price or send us a message, you give us permission to store and use it to run and improve Anchor. Price checks are combined, without your name or email, to calibrate the estimates everyone sees.

Anchor, including its software, design, text, graphics, calculations and methods, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Anchor for your own non-commercial purposes under these Terms.

Anchor relies on third parties, including odds data providers, public sports data and logos, sign-in providers, payment processing, hosting and analytics. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for their accuracy, availability or practices. Any link to a sportsbook or other site is for convenience only and isn’t an endorsement.

Anchor is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that Anchor, its odds or its projections will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free, or that any bet will win.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any betting losses, lost winnings, lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of Anchor or reliance on its figures. Our total liability for any claim relating to Anchor is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

If you break these Terms or the law while using Anchor, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, to the extent the law allows.

Most problems can be fixed quickly. Before starting any formal claim, please contact us through our contact form and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.

You can stop using Anchor anytime, and delete your account from your account page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect Anchor or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect, and we may ask you to agree again. Continuing to use Anchor after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
