A closer look
Four things happen in the second after you tap a line. Here’s each one in plain English.
Every sportsbook price has a margin built in. It’s why both sides of a coin-flip game are listed at −110. Anchor strips that margin out of every line, so the percentages you see are the chances the market is really pricing, not the padded version.
The spread, the total, alternate lines and team totals all describe the same game from different angles. Anchor combines them into one consistent picture of how it’s likely to play out: who wins, by how much, and how many points get scored. For live games it starts from the current score and the time left.
Bets on the same game move together. If a favourite covers a big spread, they probably scored a lot, so their team total and the game over get more likely. If an underdog covers, a lower-scoring game often comes with it. Anchor re-checks every line on the board assuming your lock wins.
A leg earns its spot when the extra payout is worth more than the extra risk at your confidence level. Anchor tests thousands of combinations, keeps the best one for your risk setting, and re-prices everything the moment you change something.

Your confidence
The market already tells us how likely your lock is. Your confidence is what you bring on top. If you’re exactly as sure as the market, no parlay has an edge, and neither does the straight bet. Anchor will tell you that.

Reading your slip
Sometimes the best parlay is no parlay. When nothing on the board moves with your lock enough to beat the book’s extra cut, Anchor says so and points you to locks where a parlay does add value.
Pick a lock mid-game and Anchor rebuilds from the current score and clock. Lines the book hasn’t updated are left out, so stale prices can’t create fake edges.

Where the odds come from
Prices come from a major US sportsbook through a licensed odds feed. Pre-game lines refresh about every 30 minutes and live lines every 10. Rosters come from public team data, so props land under the right team.
