A closer look
Six things happen in the second after you tap a line. Here’s each one in plain English.
Every sportsbook price has a margin built in. It’s why both sides of a coin-flip game are listed at −110. Anchor strips that margin out of every line, so the percentages you see are the chances the market is really pricing, not the padded version.
The spread, the total, alternate lines and team totals all describe the same game from different angles. Anchor combines them into one consistent picture of how it’s likely to play out: who wins, by how much, and how many points get scored. For live games it starts from the current score and the time left.
Bets on the same game move together. If a favourite covers a big spread, they probably scored a lot, so their team total and the game over get more likely. If an underdog covers, a lower-scoring game often comes with it. Anchor re-checks every line on the board assuming your lock wins.
Sportsbooks know same-game legs move together, so they price a same-game parlay with the legs together and pay less than simple parlay math. Anchor estimates that price, so the payout you see is close to the one your book shows, and it tells you how much the book keeps. Type your book’s real quote and every number uses it.
Pick a size (two, three or four legs) and Anchor tests thousands of combinations for the best-value parlay: legs that still have a real chance once your lock hits and that each add real payout. Every leg carries the book’s margin, so the slip shows the cost against the straight bet, and the ways to earn it back: like the legs you believe in, parlay across games, or add a boost.
Expected profit is an average, and nobody bets the average. Pro runs a Monte Carlo simulation on every ticket: thousands of simulated games, strung into a thousand runs of repeated bets, side by side with betting your lock straight. You see how often you’d actually be up, the bad-luck case, and the losing streaks and drawdowns that come with a bigger payout.

Your confidence
The market already tells us how likely your lock is. Your confidence is what you bring on top. If you’re exactly as sure as the market, no parlay has an edge, and neither does the straight bet. Anchor will tell you that.

Reading your slip
Every leg costs the book's margin, and Anchor shows that cost on each ticket. Like the legs you believe in, parlay across games or add a boost, and watch it turn into an edge.
Pick a lock mid-game and Anchor rebuilds from the current score and clock. Lines the book hasn’t updated are left out, so stale prices can’t create fake edges.

Where the odds come from
Prices come from a major US sportsbook through a licensed odds feed. Pre-game lines refresh through the day and live games every few minutes, with the score and clock. Player props arrive with each player's team, so they land under the right side.

No. Anchor doesn’t predict winners or sell tips. It reads the sportsbook’s own prices and does the math around your pick. The same inputs always give the same answer.
Books price same-game parlays with the legs together and each keeps its own margin, so Anchor’s price is an estimate, usually within a few percent. Type your book’s quote into the price check and Anchor uses the exact number, shows how much the book keeps, and learns how that book prices tickets. Leg prices come from DraftKings, so another book’s individual lines can differ slightly too.
