About Anchor
Parlays are the most popular bet in America and, for most people, the worst value on the board. We think that can change if you start from what you actually believe.
Why Anchor exists
The usual parlay is a handful of bets you half-like, stacked together. Every leg adds the sportsbook’s cut, and the legs have nothing to do with each other. The payout looks huge because the odds of hitting are tiny.
Anchor flips that. You start with the one bet you’re genuinely confident in, your lock. Anchor then looks for the bets that tend to win when your lock wins, and only adds them if the extra payout is worth the extra risk.
Sometimes the honest answer is “just bet your lock”. We’d rather tell you that than sell you a lottery ticket.
What we believe
Every number on Anchor comes from the sportsbook’s own prices and the math between them. Same inputs, same answer, every time.
If a straight bet beats every parlay, we say so, even though a bigger ticket would look more exciting.
We don’t sell picks. Your confidence drives the ticket, because you know things the market doesn’t.
Anchor is a tool for people who already bet for fun. We show the downside as clearly as the payout.
Independent
Anchor is an independent calculator. We don’t take bets, hold money or sell picks. We make money from optional subscriptions, so our job is to be useful, not to get you to bet more.
Built carefully
Prices come from a licensed odds feed and are re-checked against the book’s own main lines. Lines that go stale during a game are dropped, so a slow price can’t pass itself off as an edge.
We read every message and usually reply within one or two business days.
